Okiem has performed on the piano for many of

Most recently he has been seen on an Arena tour with the boyband Blue sharing his original compositions across venues in the UK including London’s world famous O2 Arena.
Prior to that he toured with and wrote songs for Russian pop sensation Sergey Lazarev which involved relocating to Moscow for 3 years. This unique wealth of experience with top class artists helps to shape his unique sound, compositions, and astounding live performance that continue to captivate his audiences.
Okiem has been compared to composers such as Ludovico Einaudi and Olafur Arnalds. His contemporary take on the classical genre is expressed in his original albums ‘Xiro’ and ‘The Golden Circle’. Okiem is the creator of The Infinity Orchestra and he can be seen performing with this amazing group of musicians across the UK and Worldwide.

Xiro album
The essence of "Xiro" is the message that anything is possible through the power of creativity
The word ‘Xiro’ actually came to me in a dream (corny but true!). According to that dream it means ‘to create something from nothing’. Everyday after composing a new song I’d think to myself ‘this music did not exist yesterday’ .. and here it is, in the real world and I’m listening to it.
So the message of ‘Xiro’ felt like a perfect fit for the title of the Album. As a composer, I am always amazed by the creative process. After releasing Xiro I was full of ideas and these came to life in my latest album ‘The Golden Circle’. I’m grateful for everyone who has discovered my music (that means you :D).. It really does mean a lot to me. ‘The Golden Circle’ is simply a name to reflect that.
So the message of ‘Xiro’ felt like a perfect fit for the title of the Album. As a composer, I am always amazed by the creative process.
